BJP maintains dominance in Rajya Sabha, Cong footprint rises marginally

In the fiercely-fought poll, the BJP won three seats each from Maharashtra and Karnataka. Its candidates won in Rajasthan and Haryana and an independent candidate it backed in Haryana also won.

Chhattisgarh: Efforts on to rescue 11-year-old boy who fell in borewell

A pit parallel to the borewell was being dug to rescue the child, a senior official from the district administration said, adding that it will take another 12 hours to reach the boy

K’taka high court allows rape survivor to testify after she turns major

The high court has allowed a victim, who was a minor when the alleged crime against her was committed, to be recalled for cross-examination in the trial court in a Pocso case.
